Dear Mrs Tofa

I am writing to say thank you for speaking to us about how you became a teacher.

It was interesting to  learn that your Dad had to sell his business so your family could come to New Zealand and live a better life, and how you had to go to a new school and meet new friends.

I learnt that your Dad went back to Samoa and started his business up again. I also learnt that it must have been hard for you to grow up when your Dad was in Samoa and you were in New Zealand.

Did you want to come to New Zealand?

Was it your dream to become a teacher?
