Dear Matua Leighton

I am writing to say thank you for coming to Glenbrae school and talking to us about your career and how you became a teacher.

I learnt that we should go to university when you finish college so you can learn more and get a good job to help the family. It was interesting finding out that you had kids when you were 19 and you went to university later on and studied to become a teacher.

Why did you choose to become a teacher?
