A simile is a sentence that compares two things by saying they are similar to each other,using the words like or as

she was pretty as Kelly clarkson
It was as old as the great wall of china
He took off like lightning
The pig smelt like old socks
the old man was as mean as John key
my Grandmother was gentle as a feather
the dog was cooler than S.B.W
He  was as talented  as a musician.
The boy ran like a cheetah.
His pancakes tasted like waffles.
His room was as messy as  my room.
